Chicken wrapped in Pesto and Bacon just from the name of it you can imagine how good it tastes. Since I found a way to buy real organic grass fed chicken I’m making more and more dishes that are based on the Mediterranean kitchen but staying away from grains and trying to keep it low carb.
To make this recipe I decided to take some of my favorite ingredients. Green pesto which I love to add it anywhere I can, and the bacon, who doesn’t love bacon? The bacon taste so good in almost everything including my version of the Mediterranean Israeli salad with bacon.
So be sure that if prepared this dish, then it is very easy to make. I love the taste of the chicken it’s so moist so get ready for the most flavorful chicken ever! My bacon wrapped pesto chicken is packed with flavors and it takes only 45 minutes to prepare. Children love it too. It is easy to make, yet tastes like you’ve spent hours in the kitchen.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). |

Lay a chicken breast out flat, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Spread pesto sauce over the chicken breast, and roll the chicken breast in a slice of bacon, securing the roll with toothpicks. Lay the rolled chicken breast into a 9x9-inch baking dish. Repeat with remaining chicken breasts. Pour the vegetable oil over the chicken breasts. |
